Marsham's Nomad Bee (cuckoo bee) ... Out in great numbers this year too.

These wasp-like bees lay their eggs in the nest of other bee species, typically that of mining bees. And there are also huge numbers of mining bees around this year.

Often seen flying low over ground, on the look-out for a nest into which they will sneak and lay their eggs.
